Jerome Neppl, a cybersecurity expert and CEO of ASSISTEYE™, Inc., stated that they would start their project in Maryland/ DC, New Jersey and Pennsylvania school districts where their children attend. These states have funding programs to support schools for the implementation of systems like ASSISTEYE™.
Currently, Neppl together with his team is recruiting and screening schools to join in the pilot programs while continuing to raise funds for the pilot locations. He added that they are working hard to include as many possible locations. It comes down on how many funding partners will join and size of funding received.
The Assisteye Foundation was created to pursue and manage funding of grants, with matching funds from foundations like The Newman Foundation, The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, as well as other foundations that are willing to help to solve this problem.
Meanwhile, CEO Neppl was joined by a team of people who have different backgrounds from cyber technology, leadership, mechanical engineers, marketing, and management to establish his corporation. The launch of ASSISTEYE™’s Indiegogo Campaign will be on Saturday, November 10, 2018, celebrated at Basta Pasta in Timonium, Maryland that same afternoon from 2:00 to 5:00 PM. The campaign is important and looking for everyone’s support either through direct participation or spreading the word.
