Saimdang Cosmetics boasts 56 unique patented ingredients. The company’s technological prowess is evidenced by numerous domestic and international academic publications, patent registrations, six Small and Medium Business Technology Innovation Awards, a Korea Technology Grand Prize, three New Technology Certifications, and a Presidential Award at the Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Fair for developing and commercializing anti-aging skin care materials from natural substances. Saimdang Cosmetics owns a 5,000-pyeong factory site in the Ochang Science Industrial Complex, boasting an impressive production capacity of over 2 million units per month. The Ochang factory is equipped with two 500L homogenizers, two 100L homogenizers, and four 1-ton/2-ton open kettles, enhancing production efficiency and quality. The factory features advanced manufacturing equipment, including bottom-type manufacturing kettles for high-quality product output, purified water production facilities boasting enhanced water purity, and a raw material weighing system. The company’s production system and quality control processes comply with domestic CGMP and international GMP (ISO22716) standards, gaining recognition both domestically and internationally.
Leveraging these substantial hardware and software assets, Saimdang Cosmetics has successfully expanded its operations both domestically and globally, including establishing new distribution networks in the Americas and Europe.
