Edwardsville, Il –<\/strong> On a mission to help those who struggle with different aspects of Christianity, renowned author Douglas Sumowski is pleased to announce the launch of his crowdfunding campaign for his highly anticipated Dtesh Catholic Place podcast.<\/a> Sumowski is looking for supporters to help cover the costs of ongoing production and hosting fees:<\/p>\n

“I feel that my message needs to be heard, and want to reach out to as many people as I can,” says Sumowski. “But I do need your help. And as a thank you for your support, an additional $5 per month support of the podcast will provide access to additional podcasts.”<\/p>\n

The podcast was created to help listeners learn to pray more effectively and make their faith in God more of a relationship than a religion.<\/p>\n

“Most people understand the importance of prayer,” the author explains. “But many of us are unsure about how to begin. My podcast will show you that prayer is the root and strength of all work for God, and that He intends to answer every prayer. It will completely transform your prayer life.”<\/p>\n

About the Author<\/strong><\/p>\n

Having been raised in the Catholic faith, Sumowski underwent some personal struggles and left the Church in order to become an itinerant evangelist and assistant pastor for a Protestant church. He eventually returned to Catholicism, and in 2015 he earned a BA in Religion from St. Leo University. After becoming a seminarian for the Diocese of Belleville, Illinois, Sumowski earned a Master’s in Theology from St. Leo University.<\/p>\n

With his vast experience and background in other denominations, Sumowski recognizes that he is on a ‘clear path’ to help others. He has written a number of books about the Catholic faith, which are available on Amazon.<\/a><\/p>\n
